Hi! I’m Margaret Zhang, a graphic designer who goes by the artist alias ‘Mei’ online. I enjoy experimenting with new techniques when designing, and I love creating digital character illustrations as a hobby. I’ve always had an interest in the visual arts, but I especially appreciate how much graphic design combines functionality and purpose with the aesthetics of visual art.

I was first introduced to graphic design in high school, when I took a graphic design and video animation class. Admittedly, I was not the biggest fan of graphic design back then, but it grew on me as I learned about the design process and became more familiar with the software. With time and practice, I improved my personal design process and vision, allowing me to find enjoyment in graphic design.

I still do digital art in my free time, and I have the most fun drawing for the ACG (Anime, Comics, Games) content I like. Fictional narratives fascinate me and keep my creative inspiration flowing!
