Original Character: Ripaan
On the left is the original sketch and the basis for the character, which was inspired from the manga Witch Hat Atelier. Below is a concept sketch for how the watery hat forms.
These last two images show my progress when I applied color to the character, and brought the water-element magic that the character is associated with to life.
